Cedar Sage and Sweetgrass was started through the efforts of three indigenous artists; MaryAnne Lindberg, Valerie Davidson-Oar and Pat Calihou. It was born of a desire to showcase work that often did not fit into pre-conceived ideas of what “indigenous art” should look like.
